Investing in our people
In 2015, we launched the LC Packaging Employee Satisfaction Survey for all our colleagues in our offices worldwide. As our people are our greatest asset, their opinion matters and we believe that listening and acting on feedback is crucial for the future of our company. With conviction, we can report that there is a high satisfaction level at our company, and we received a lot of useful input and feedback. For example: as a result of this survey, last year we invested additionally in the personal development of our employees, by providing internal and external training and education. In 2016, we will further professionalise our HR activities with the introduction of special software for talent management: TalentExcellence.

For LC Packaging, the African market has become increasingly important and strategic. It is the fastest growing region for the LC Packaging Group. LC Shankar, our own production location in FIBCs, has already reached the required levels for running an efficient and high-quality operation. In addition to our regional office in Johannesburg, South Africa, we also opened a new office in 2015, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to better service our West African customers. At the same time, we have established a new entity in Namibia, from which our Central African customers will be served. Willem Bron, Managing Director
LC Packaging West Africa: “Big bags are a relatively new solution in West Africa, which is home to a great deal of diversity: three world languages, multiple cultures and some of the fastest growing countries in Africa and the world. To service this diverse market, we opened an office in Abidjan, from where we assist our customers, keep stock and distribute our tailor made big bags. Our model involves local presence, knowledge and production. Based on growing demand, this could mean that we can open an extra local production location in the future.”

The Nordics is a huge geographical market with a clear demand for FIBC, Agri and cardboard solutions. Like most Nordic companies we believe long-term success and partnership are more important than short-term benefits. We offer our customers sustainable products and services, the benefit of an international network and the full use of our experience.”
