The company has been active in the packaging industry for four generations. CEO Lucas Lammers’ great-grandfather started the company in 1923, when its sole activities were the purchase, reconditioning and distribution of (second hand) jute bags. Over the years,  our range of services and knowledge have expanded considerably and today, we specialise in high quality flexible packaging solutions for safe, reliable and protective transportation of valuable (dry) bulk goods. 

LC Packaging is a family owned, privately held company and leading global producer and distributor of flexible packaging and services.  

LC Packaging has local operations in 16 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. Spread over these continents we operate 17 sales offices,
6 production locations and 33 warehouses, including over 70,000 m2 of storage facilities. Our head office is based in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel, the Netherlands. In the course of 2020, LC Packaging will move to a new and fully sustainable head office in Waddinxveen.

The visitors enjoyed a guided tour through the warehouse, sharing old and recent memories through a traditional picture exhibition, after which innovations were presented to support our customers’ daily business. In the evening, all the guests gathered to enjoy a delicious dinner and a theatre act and could immerse themselves in 25 years of history through famous music. 

Recently, LC Hungary has re-organised its warehouse and introduced metal boxes for the storage of products such as rolls of shade netting. The warehouse upgrade provides a safer and more efficient working environment.

Last October the LC Packaging Hungary team celebrated its 25^th anniversary with customers during a great event full of surprises.

With the slogan ‘Our corrugated board wraps anything’, Pacapime has always been an important packaging distributor in the food sector (80%) and industry (15%). Just like LC Packaging, the company invests in long-term relationships, resulting in companies that have been customers for almost 45 years.

Today, Pacapime operates advanced cardboard production facilities in Halle, Belgium and Mórahalom, Hungary. Although the actual celebration party is scheduled for 2020, the Pissens family, owner of Pacapime and shareholder of LC Packaging, can proudly look back on 100 years of stability and development.

Family business Pacapime - one of the largest producers of corrugated board, specialised in ready-to-use packaging - celebrated its 100^th birthday in 2019.

 “We have always been a producer of transport packaging. Today, we have extended our portfolio and you can also find our packaging on the store shelf. In the past, producing cardboard packaging was much more labour-intensive. Since I took over the helm 42 years ago, we have halved our workforce due to technological developments and more advanced machinery. Whereas in the past we invested in new machinery every 20 years or so, we now do so every 5 to 10 years. Developments go fast and we make sure we are on board to maintain a sustainable future.”

This project was a true team effort! All colleagues helped with the relocation and the decoration of the office. Not only is the new office a better fit with the expanding workforce, it is also a modern, light office in a quiet neighbourhood: a nice place to work. In addition to the Nantes office, LC France also has an office and warehouse in Sainte Marie.
