In June 2019, the LC Packaging France team in Nantes moved into a new office in the same city.

This project was a true team effort! All colleagues helped with the relocation and the decoration of the office. Not only is the new office a better fit with the expanding workforce, it is also a modern, light office in a quiet neighbourhood: a nice place to work. In addition to the Nantes office, LC France also has an office and warehouse in Sainte Marie.

In 2020 the LC Packaging South Africa team celebrated its 10^th anniversary. After exploring and prospecting through Africa for months, LC Packaging South Africa was officially registered in November 2010. A dynamic, family oriented team who “does the right things, right” in order to supply bulk packaging solutions to responsible customers in predominantly mining, chemicals, agriculture and food markets.

“South Africa has had its ups and downs over the past 10 years, but in the past 4 years we have seen a significant growth of about 30% per annum. This shows we are definitely on the right track!”, says Regional Director Southern Africa Richard Green. “By focusing on blue chip customers who use significant quantities of FIBCs, have a consistent demand and who appreciate that we provide a high quality product and service at a margin, we can do so on a sustainable basis. Our focus is on growth and having fun as a team while we do so. We have a dedicated team here who regard each other as family and work with full focus on this goal.”

Always near, even when working from home
Even during a severe lockdown in South Africa, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the close-knit team kept on going. “The team has functioned really well during the pandemic. From the moment we closed the Sales Office and started working from home, the team upped their game and ensured that we had continuity of supply and even managed to secure new customers. This really show the dedication of our people.”

Expending our reach
Next to a dedicated team in the office, South Africa also holds our production facility LC Shankar, for which we have big plans. “LC Shankar will soon be moving into a brand new, custom built facility in Pietermaritzburg, which allows us to manufacture in a state-of-the-art production environment. We would like to build on our recent successes in the food sector while expanding our reach throughout Southern Africa.”

LC Packaging has local operations in 16 countries in Europe, Africa and Asia. Spread over these continents we operate 17 sales offices,
6 production locations and 33 warehouses, including over 70,000 m2 of storage facilities. Our head office is based in Waddinxveen, the Netherlands.

LC Packaging is a family owned, privately held company and leading global producer and distributor of flexible packaging and services.  

The company has been active in the packaging industry for four generations. CEO Lucas Lammers’ great-grandfather started the company in 1923, when its sole activities were the purchase, reconditioning and distribution of (second hand) jute bags. Over the years,  our range of services and knowledge have expanded considerably and today, we specialise in high quality flexible packaging solutions for safe, reliable and protective transportation of valuable (dry) bulk goods.
