In 2017 we successfully rolled out a soft launch for the LC Packaging Store: our online portal where our customers can view and call off their stock items, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In the Netherlands, the first customers are online and in 2018 we will go live with this platform in all countries where LC is represented.

Bigbagswarehouse – our Dutch web shop for standard big bags – is now also live in Belgium: www.bigbagswarehouse.be. The customer friendly, easy to use web shop is bilingual (Dutch and French) and is a starting success. LC Packaging Netherlands also launched www.sintzakken.nl, selling the famous Dutch ‘Sinterklaas’ jute bags.

Our patented LC Vento Jute Bag prevents for example seed potatoes from sweating and rotting during transit. This bag and the ventilated big bag, both developed by LC Packaging in-house, are literally a breath of fresh air and prevent unnecessary waste of valuable products.

LC Packaging was awarded an EFTA-Benelux Flexo Innovation Award. Our jute bag with 4-colour flexographic printing with grid was named the ‘Best Technical Innovation’. The winners of this edition are automatically nominated for the European Flexo Award Competition that FTA Europe will organise in spring 2018. Next to 4-colour printing of jute bags, we can do 4-colour printing on PP bags with our new 2-side printing machine.
